Upon detecting a change in the normal behavior of the wind turbine in April 2023, Turbit's monitoring system promptly identified an anomaly. Through analysis, a consistent upward trend in the main bearing temperatures was observed, especially noticeable since spring/summer 2022.

How Energiequelle solved Damage in the Generator
On October 24th, 2022, an initial temperature increase was detected in the stator windings of the generator of one of SAB's wind turbines under the operation of Energiequelle, indicating an alteration in the turbine behavior. Turbit's alarm system identified the anomaly and raised the alarm. Energiequelle investigated the issues behind this anomaly and revealed that a malfunctioning frequency converter led to elevated temperatures.

How Enercity prevented Damage in the Generator with Minimum Impact
On January 10th, 2023, Turbit's monitoring system detected a significant increase in generator temperatures, rising from around 20°C to approximately 45°C. The combined efforts of the wind park operator and service partner resolved the issue within 14 days with no downtime or power loss, highlighting successful collaboration.
